Greetings
Hello! My name is Patricia. Thanks for visiting my website to learn more about me. Please read the following carefully; hopefully it will answer a lot of the questions you may have. For those of you returning to my website, you'll notice that a lot has changed. I've removed the photo and written narrative of my life over the past six years. I've re-phrased, shortened, and simplified a lot of other information. Finally, I greatly reduced my availability to reflect the fact that I plan to retire and collect Social Security (yes, it's true!!!) very soon. I know that many of you liked the narrative, so I'll repost it by the end of 2008 on a new website; I'll also add hundreds of my travel photos that you've never seen before. If you're interested, ask me for the details.
About Me
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 61 years old, 5’7” tall, 38C, and about 130 pounds. When I started all this, about mid-April 2003, my “normal” day job was as an executive in a field in which I had worked for 30 years. To make a long story short, I just didn’t want to stay in my old job any longer. So, nights and weekends I did what I really wanted to do: meet guys! I was so happy doing this that on July 3, 2003, I quit my day job to devote full time to all of the wonderful men that I have met and hope to meet.
A man knows within a few minutes after first meeting me that I really like guys. Simply put, if the man is happy then I’m happy! The best jobs are jobs that don’t seem like work. I assure you that being with men has never seemed like work to me.
Maybe you’re a younger man seeking to discover what an intelligent, attractive, relaxed, older woman has to offer.
Maybe you’re an older man who has lost the companionship of a mate to divorce, illness or death.
Maybe you're a corporate executive in need of a companion for a social function.
Maybe you’re a man, of any age, who simply wants to be with an intelligent, attractive wonman who's total attention is focused on you.
Regardless of your reason, you’ll be pleased to find out that life doesn’t end at 61. In fact, the last year has been the best year of my life.
Meeting Me
I’m generally available on Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time. This means that I’m willing to leave my house as early as 9:00 a.m. (4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays) and want to be back in my house by 11:00 p.m. I will consider other days if the occasion is really special, so it doesn't hurt to ask.
I really want to meet you, and I’ll try my best to make that happen. Meeting on short notice is sometimes possible. However, the farther you plan in advance the better the chance we’ll be able to meet each other.
If you want to meet me, please contact me by both (if possible) phone, (215) 272-6831, and e-mail, patricia@patriciapleases.com, and tell me the date, time and place where you’d like to meet. If I can answer my phone when you call, I will. If not, you’ll get my voice mail. I will respond to both my voice mail and e-mail messages as soon as possible. However, this could take up to 48 hours. So, please remember: the farther you plan in advance the better the chance we’ll be able to meet each other.
Regardless of whether you leave me voice mail (if I can’t answer) or send me e-mail, I’d be grateful if you’d provide me with a phone number and instructions as to when it’s a good time to call you. Even if you’ve chosen to only send me e-mail (and not call me), often I am able to responded to e-mail more quickly and thoroughly with a phone call. So, telling me the date, time and place where you’d like to meet and leaving me your phone number and instructions as to when it’s a good time to call you is very helpful and greatly appreciated.
What Do We Do or Talk About on Our Date?
I like doing almost anything as long as I’m with you: dinner, movies, theater, concerts, art galleries, museums, beach, casinos, shopping; you name it! Hey, how about a Phillies, Flyers, 76ers or Eagles game?
Outdoors! I’m a REAL outdoor girl! I can paddle a kayak (Class II Whitewater). I can snow ski (Intermediate). I’m fast becoming birder (Swarovski EL 8x32 binos). I can hike all day (learning to read Topo maps). I’ve operated a powerboat. I have one hour of flight instruction (Piper PA-38-112). I can tent camp (I hold snakes, spiders, slugs, etc. No creature is too weird for me to handle, really!). In short, I like the outdoors a lot; I’m curious; I’m an expert in nothing; I want to learn. So, if you like the outdoors, I’m your girl!
Cars! I've owned lots of interesting cars and would be happy to talk about them with you.
Wine! I’ll drink anything that’s in front of me; so don’t worry about what wine to choose. However, to the extent that I’ve had a chance to drink lots of good wines, here are some of my favorites: Chateau St. Jean Cinq Cepages (Cab), Joseph Phelps Insignia (Cab), Caymus (Cab), BV Georges de Latour (Cab), Whitehall Lane (Cab), Plumpjack (Cab), and Chateau d’Yquem (Sau). There are lots of others that I have liked, but those were memorable. The Whitehall Lane and the Chateau d’Yquem have been my favorites. No, I’m not a collector or connoisseur. I can’t read a wine list. I don’t know my vintages. However, I do pay attention; I know what I like; I do try to learn.
I’m often asked to update my “wine list” with other wines that I like. So, here goes: Conundrum (Caymus), Evolution (Sokol Blosser), Quintessa, Affinity (Robert Craig), Rosemount Estate (generally good), Beringer Vineyards (generally good), and Columbia Crest (generally good). This update is not meant to be exhaustive; I’m sure I’ve left a lot out. I want to try a bottle of Meditrina (Sokol Blosser), hint, hint!
Watches! Guys like their watches. I know the difference between a mechanical movement and a quartz movement, between manual winding and automatic. I know Patek Philippe, Vacheron-Constantin, Audemars Piguet, IWC, Rolex, Breguet, Movado, Cartier, Zenith, Omega, etc. The usual disclaimers apply: I’m not an expert, but I do pay attention and try to learn.
Travel! I traveled more than most but less than many. I've been to England, France, Greece, Germany, Italy, and many US cities. I love to travel and to talk about travel.
Rates
I charge $300 for up to two hours; this is my minimum (both time and money). A four hour dinner/corporate function/shopping/theater/sporting event date is $500. My rates include local travel time, up to 45 minutes, in each direction. A date that requires more than 45 minutes of travel in each direction may have a number of variables associated with it that may have an impact on my rates (or the total cost of our date); thus, we would need to discuss this type of date on the phone before I would schedule it.
Naturally, as with any girlfriend, I expect that you’ll pay for our date, whether it’s dinner, a movie, the theater, a trip to the casinos or a corporate outing.
How Far Will You Travel?
I consider local travel to be 45 minutes or less in each direction. I do not charge you for local travel. I consider travel beyond 45 minutes, up to two hours each way, to be regional travel. I do charge for regional travel, beyond the first 45 minutes each way, by adding this additional time to the length of our date. For example, a two-hour date, with two hours of travel time each way, becomes a five hour date.
Please note: Atlantic City is not local. Driving to and from Atlantic City is very unpredictable. Depending on a number of variables, my door to door travel time is usually 75-120 minutes from Center City Philadelphia Thus, I’ve established a flat rate for a two hour date in Atlantic City: $600.
If You’re Late or Must Cancel
Great dates start with good planning.
We’ve all agreed to do things that we knew we really didn’t want to do. In many cases, we knew we didn’t want to do them at the same time we were agreeing to do them. Maybe we were “covering all of our options” or “just being polite,” because we knew we could, and probably would, cancel later.
When I agree to meet you for a date you can be certain that I really do want to meet you, that there isn’t something else I’d rather be doing, and there aren’t any scheduling conflicts that will put pressure on our time together. In other words I’ve carefully planned our date to put you First on My List. Please do the same for me.
Robert Burns said: “The best laid plans of mice and men often go astray.” (“…The best-laid schemes o' mice an 'men, Gang aft agley…”)
Life isn’t always a sure thing. Occasionally, we all run late or have to cancel appointments; I understand. So, if you’re running late or need to cancel our date, please contact me, preferably by both phone and e-mail, and let me know as soon as possible; I’ll do the same for you.
In fact, it’s really very simple, just follow the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you follow the Golden Rule I’ll always be understanding and always do my best to re-schedule our date.
Well, that’s all. I hope I answered all of you questions.
Hope to hear from you soon!
